Hi Everyone,

This is my first month charting & I'm pretty sure I o'd on CD 13 (had ovarian pain the couple of days before and a bit of EWCM). I thought I was just having a 3rd thermal shift but then this AM FF changed my OV date to CD 17. (no good b/c we didn't BD since I really thought we had hit it. I didn't start temping at day 1 (was actually a very early m/c.) My cycles (even after a previous m/c) have been 28 days. What do you think? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Well it's hard to tell without the CM listed. But if you said there was some EWCM around the day, then that's a big indication. What kind of CM were you having on CD 17?

Do you take your temperature at the same time everyday? Before you even get out of bed? That was a big mistake I was making at first... I didn't know you had to take the temperature before you even got out of bed.

I've found that my first chart was basically just a practice run. Temps all over the place because I wasn't doing it right... didn't know how to check my CM or CP (still getting used to that one), etc. I needed a whole cycle to figure all that out. Maybe practice is all you need. Right now my only advice is that 'only time can tell'. If you're certain that you O'ed on CD 13, you can override their cross-hairs.

Yup, if you were tracking CM it probably would give you solid CHs at some point, as it would have double confirmation, if that makes sense. Try to chart your CM as well as it can be more reliable.

if you had ewcm around day 13, i'd go put that in and chances are FF will change your O date back. Honestly to me, it could be either day, so it's hard to say for sure.

Thanks for the advice ladies! I did go back and put in my EWCM & OV pain and it didn't change it. I do check my temp. before getting out of bed each day w/in a half hour or so of the same time, so I don't think that is affecting it. I guess time will tell, I'm hoping it was originally right!!
