So at 29 yrs old I finally figured out what I want to be when I grow up! After all my research about VBACs and Midwives this last year I feel very led to be a CNM. I start school Nov 24th with basic nursing courses, then RN courses and will finish with midwifery courses in only about 4 1/2 years. I can't believe how excited I am, I really thought I would be nervous about going back to school 11 years after high school but I'm not. I know this is so off topic for this board, but I just had to share!

Yay!!! Lucky! I am an RN and would love to be a CNM, but they don't offer the course in my state. I would have to take online courses and beg and borrow to get a midwife to work with me for clinical hours. Who knows, maybe some day.
