Hello my name is Nancy and I have been a lurker for the past few months and would like to introduce myself. I am on my first cycle following a devastating loss. On September 19 I went to the doctor because I just wasn't feeling up to par. I was 10 weeks pregnant and had seen the babies heartbeat and all looked well the week before. We had been very lucky and conceived the first month we started TTC. The dr. first said I probably was just getting used to the surge of hormones, but said we would do an ultrasound just to make sure. I will never forget his face. He went and got his partner and then my world became a blur. They had to perform emergency surgery. They did the first surgery laproscopically and found that the wall of the uterus where the baby attached was very thin and weak. Since my ob (I truly love and owe him my life) knew I wanted to have one more baby he decided to open me up and thicken the weak area. Twelve staples and two surgies later I am left without my percious baby growing inside of me. I thank god that there was no permanent damage to any of my reproductive organs. Fast forward a few weeks and I am so excited for AF to show herself. I am giving the okay to start TTC after this cycle, but that is the problem.

I was on BC for most of my adult life except when we conceived our first who is now ten and for the past six months. So my cycles have alwasy been 28 days like clockwork. Now I am totally freaking out and worried that I am going to have other issues. My ob said last week that everything looked good and I should be pregnant soon. Could someone please look at my chart, offer advice, or guide me in some direction. I am so stressed and worried that something is not right. I know that I am not pregnant so that is not the reason for AF not to visit.

Sorry this is so long and I seemed to ramble on. You ladies have been a source of comfort, tears, happiness, and joy to me. I felt very compelled to seek all of you out for some guidance. Many of you have had an extra prayer said for you by me and I hope that now that I feel able to post I can get to know some of you better.

HI and I am so sorry for your loss.

I think your chart looks great! When are you planning on testing?

I looks like you o'd a couple days off for a 28 day cycle, according to the chart you're only 11 DPO so I wouldn't worry about AF not showing up yet. Give it a couple more days, you should see a temp drop a day or 2 before AF. And welcome to the board, I hope you stick around while you are TTC.

Welcome to the board, first let me say how sorry I am to read of your loss

Don't be discouraged if your cycle length shortens or lengthens a bit - your cycles were regular because of BCP, so now that you are BCP=-free, they may change.

Keep posting with us so we can stalk your journey!!

Thank you for all the advice. I just want AF to show soon so we can move on to the TTC after this cycle. I hate waiting and this is driving me crazy. The only reason we have to wait now is because I had to get the chickenpox vaccine since I didn't show immunity. My OB said we needed to wait until me cycle in Dec to be safe. The fact that things are different this month with my cycle is worrying me.
