I just got my Mirena out on the 17th... These have been my temps:

11/18 - 97.40
11/19 - 97.38
11/20 - 97.40
11/21 - 97.37
11/22 - 97.27

Now they have been pretty consistant... what EXACTLY am I looking for in taking my temp? What degree of change (higher/lower)?

Thanks

basically to show ovulation you are looking for a rise of about .5 degree (over average temps) that is sustained for at least 3 days

Ok, so when there is a rise of .5 over average temp for 3 days which day would I ovulate on (typically)? One of those three days? Or the 4th day?

Thank you...!

typically the day before the temp rise. if you want to know ahead of time you'll need to use OPKs or watch your cervical mucus.

ovulation predictor kits. You won't know by charting that you ovulated until after. OPKs (and checking your CM) will let you know before hand. Fertility Friend has good instructions where you can learn to chart.
