Why don't you think it's correct? It seems to meet all the conditions....3 temps higher than the previous 6, mucus drying up.

I don't know, it just doesn't feel right. Everyone I've showed the chart to says they think it's CD14 instead of 19.

CD14 doesn't make any sense because your thermal shift didn't start until CD20, your CM didn't start drying up until CD20 too. If you still have wet CM (like CD15, 16, 17, 18, 29) then you can't confirm ovulation yet. Also, if you don't have 3 temps which are at least 0.2 degrees higher than the previous 6, you can't confirm ovulation yet.

It's not as wet as those days, but it's wet and creamy..if that makes sense?

The CM doesn't have to dry up completely, if that's what you mean. Using CM only to identify ovulation, the CM has to progress over a matter of days, become slippery, and then dry up drastically from what it was. Ovulation occurs closest to the last day a slippery or lubrication sensation is noticed. Now, unfortunately the FF categories for CM don't get into enough detail to really evaluate it properly, so I just assumed that change occurred on CD20 (when things got much drier than they were before). Did I assume wrong? Do you happen to recall the last day you felt slippery or lubricated?

The last day I felt this "slippery" that you're talking about was Saturday. What you're saying makes so much more sense to me than the stuff I've read online. I'm still wet, but not AS wet as I was last week. Almost like it is drying up. And that was way TMI!

No such thing as TMI here! The last day of slippery is what you would call your mucus Peak. Ovulation generally occurs on Peak day, the day after Peak, and sometimes up to 2 days after Peak. It doesn't matter if you don't completely dry up, what matters is that you feel significantly drier than you did before.

The information I am giving you is from the Billings Ovulation Method, based on the research on hormones and cervical mucus by Dr. Erik Odeblad and Dr. James Brown. I teach charting via the Billings Method IRL.

Shawna!

FF is just going by your temps and your CM, since that's all that's there to help it determine when you O'd.

Based on those two things, it looks like it was the 19th.

Good luck!
