Hello! I am very new to charting. I just got my first PP period about 2 weeks ago. We want to start TTC sgain in a few months so I thought I would track my ovulation. Anyway I did a chart, don't laugh, I'm a rookie. I basically just put my temps in and that's it. Does my chart 'tell' you anything? Honestly I don't know what I'm looking at!

Don't worry about being a "rookie" a lot of us girls have only been charting for a couple months so we rely heavily on the advice of the girls that have been here longer. And no, that was the wrong link. If you go the sharing part of FF and set up your page it will give you your link.

It looks to me like if your temps stay up, you will have O'd on Wednesday. FF needs 3 high temps before it will give you the crosshairs. I am no expert though, hopefully others will chime in!

I agree. It looks like you have ovulated. A few more temps should confirm that.

So my temp went down this morning. That means I didn't ovulate?

Once you have 3 temps which are at least 0.2 degrees higher than the previous 6 temps, you can confirm ovulation. A single high temp can happen just because of fluke, drinking alcohol the night before, being extra warm during the night, etc. So wait until you see 3 high temps to confirm ovulation. If you are monitoring your CM, in addition to the 3 high temps, you also confirm ovulation when CM begins to dry up.

Is it normal to be on CD 16 and not O'ed yet? I guess considering this was my first PP AF it won't be all that normal.

Your daughter is young and you are still breastfeeding so long cycles would not be uncommon. I didn't get my first pp AF until my son was 10 months old and then he had decreased the # of times he was nursing each day.

Hey Kim, i don't think you o'd yet. Because this is your first pp you might not ovulate until much much later if at all. My first pp cycle i didn't o til cd42 and then af showed on cd45. I had a 3 day LP. That is not nearly long enough to sustain a pregnancy. Last month i o'd on cd 32 and af showed on cd 41 which gave me an LP of 9 days which is also not really long enough to sustain a pregnancy which would account for the bfp followed by af. This month i o'd on cd 21 and am already 9 DPO with no sign of AF. Since this is your first cycle pp and charting it gonna kinda be a learn as you go. Good luck girlie!!!
