I think FF was wrong when it said I Oed CD 17 or 18. I had a temp increase, but not a big one.
Well, at what should have been 5 DPO I had a dip, and since then my temp has increased. Take a look.
When do you think I ovulated?
What else could be causing a 2nd, bigger temp shift?

I was so convinced it was CD17/18 because I had perfect EWCM and my cervix was really high. And since then, I've only had creamy CM, and not much of it. Also, not sure how much I trust OPKs, but I did have what was nearly a positive one on CD 23. (When I was pregnant with DD, I also got positives after ovulation though, same brand).
So now I have dotted CHs. If I add a positive OPK for CD 23 it moves the CHs to there, but they're still dotted (because of the CM I assume).

So, good news...I think I might have for sure ovulated for the first time since having DD AND this would eliminate our "oops" we had around CD 17/17.
Bad news...I'm obviously not good at charting CM.

My chart:

Thanks.

ETA: And of course, in my obsession about my chart ( ), I found this. Mine is the green one. If you look, she has a discarded high temp the same day I do. Ugh... .

With the CP and CM information I'd say you did O on CD 17 or 18. The later dip could be an implantation dip or just an odd temp. Your chart may simply be going triphasic now. Good luck!

So you had an oops around CD 17/18, is that right? If so then maybe that could be an implantation dip? Or it could just be that your hormones are still trying to get back to normal after birth. I would say it still looks your CH's are correct based on CM though. If you look on FF I think it tells you why it gives you dotted CH's but that may just be with the paid membership.

Yeah, CD 17, but it was like 11:30pm but I counted it as CD 17.

I went back and added my "almost" positive OPKs, CD 18 and CD 23. It gave my solid CHs on CD 18. So maybe it is right.

FF said it gave me dotted CHs on CD 23 because of CM. It doesn't give a reason for them for CD 18. ??

It probably gave dotted CHs because the third CP option is blank and because there is no OPK or FM information.

ETA: With that in mind it'll be interesting to see what your temps do.

Oh okay, thanks.

I had an almost positive OPK that day, but I took it kind of late in the day without holding the pee, so it could have been positive I guess.

I guess I'll see in a few days!

Thanks everyone.

Use your 'rule of thumb' - we all have odd temp spikes or drops now and again, be it stress, not a good night's sleep, whatever. Usually not a problem to eliminate one outlier, as long as all other temps (plus CM and cervix) suggest a good ovulation pattern.

If you had a nearly positive OPK without holding it then odds are having held it that test line would've been super dark. The LH hadn't had time to properly concentrate, so a near positive for not holding is pretty impressive.
