I am so new to this. In fact I'm finding it hard. But I am doing the best I can. I did have a question. I woke up at 4:10 yesterday morning and this morning. I chose not to temp yesterday but temped this morning. Why I woke up that early I don't know. I tend to wake up naturally between 5:15-5:35. The open circles are the odd times, but should I have temped yesterday? I mean does the hour or so make that much difference? I had more than enough sleep, I just woke up at an odd time.

As far as CM, I have a hard time figuring it out. I don't know what to "rate" what I find. I sometimes have the sensation of wetness (open the flood gates type feeling - TMI!) but don't find anything particularly remarkable in regards to what I am told to look/feel for. I had some possible ovulation pain on the 11th along with these "rushes" a few days around there. But I get these fairly frequently and with my temps all over the place these last few days, I don't know what's up. Any help for a newbie would be most appreciative. Thanks!

I always record my temp and the note if there were special conditions: such as a different time, cold room, sick, etc. Missing one temp won't make a big difference. It is better to take your temp at the same time, so if you normal wake up by 5:15am, you could set your alarm for around 5:00am, temp then, and go to sleep.

As for CM, I'm learning that too. This should help: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/HelpCenter/...y_signs.html#19

I can't set my alarm. My husband already has both of the alarms set, one for 6:10 and one for 6:30. He is a "snoozer." I just happen to wake up before this every morning Usually an hour before they go off, but sometimes the dreams just suck me in. Like this morning after I went back to sleep, I dreamt of Hugh Jackman!

I temp when I wake up, even if it is early, but for me the hour doesn't make that much difference, for some women it does. If you wake up, roll over and go back to sleep, then temp at your normal time when you wake up again.

As for the CM, if you feel flood gates and have a slippery wipe, but don't notice EWCM that is when you mark it as watery. Watery CM is still fertile, and in some cases MORE fertile then EW. Your tmeps will develop a pattern and you will learn to decipher them. FOr me my temp drops and then rises a little before I ovulate. Then there is a big jump after.

i would temp no matter what, and just make not of it in your chart. As for cm, it takes a while. I still have an issue with it. It takes a couple cycles to get used to it. Some women don't get certain kinds of CM at all. Its all about YOUR pattern.

That's what I would do too, go ahead and temp no matter what, and see what happens.

LOL at Hugh Jackman!
