I just had my 3rd period after giving birth. I decided to see if I was ovulating yet and tested on day 11 or 13 (it's a little screwy as to which day I actually started). For 2 days, the OPK test was pos.- day 3, there were still 2 lines, but the control was slightly darker. This am...test line is def. darker again!
I'm confused...can this happen because my hormones are still screwy? I gave birth almost 5 months ago and stopped breasfeeding almost 4 months ago.
Your hormones could still be a tad off, or your body may be trying to ovulate and simply hasn't succeeded yet. I've had 4 positives in a row in the past, but the coming and going of a positive typically indicates attempts to O.
And I wanted to say and a big hello from a fellow Virginian! I went to high school outside of Roanoke, college in Harrisonburg, now I live just south of Richmond.
Maybe you should pee on the other type of stick. Sometimes POKs work like HPTs
