HI and welcome! I am still somewhat new to charting too. WHat has helped me a lot, is a book that I bought called "Taking Charge of your Fertility". Its by Toni Weschler. www.TCOYF.com http://www.tcoyf.com/

It has some charts in the back of the book as well, that you can copy it and keep it next to your bed or whatever so you can chart your symptoms and stuff.

From what i've learned is you need to check your cervical fluid and when you notice the egg white cervical mucous and on days that you jsut feel really wet, that is your most fertile times. Then after ovulation, your temp should be higher than it normally is. It will stay high until your period returns or if you are pregnant. Usually, after ovulation, if you have 18 high temps (above your coverline) then you are probably pregnant.

Read up on the http://www.tcoyf.com/ and check out the info. Fertility Friend also has a tutorial that you can take as well!

Good Luck!

Below is my weightloss ticker. This is not for the pregnancy weight to come off as it has pretty much all came off. The rest of it is just what I've been wanting to loose for a while now to get back to my healthier weight!

Wow Stephanie you wrote my post! That is the exact book I used when I started charting and it has been very useful. It took me a few cycles to understand my body, but perhaps it was because I was a young 19 year old newlywed or perhaps it is because it can take time. I've been using a software made to go along with the book and found it VERY helpful, especially at first! It is called Ovusoft and I'm sure you could google it and find it. I love that software and very helpful especially when starting out, the price is one-time and reasonable too.

I think it just takes time. I still can not figure out the whole cervix part, but I've only been charting for about a month! I love tcoyf! Its been awesome!! I'm amazed at all the stuff I am learning and I WISHED they taught that stuff in a class in high school.

The software now comes as a 15 day free trial in the back of the book! Its awesome! I have not bought the program yet, but I am planning on buying if after the beginning of the year! You can view more on the software on the TCOYF website as well!!

Joy-Great minds think alike!

Hi and I'm Sarah, and I charted to conceive my daughter, who's now 7 months old.

Hope your stay is short and sweet! Lots of the girls here use both Ovusoft and Fertility Friend.

Good luck!
