I began spotting today which is the sign af is coming...woohoo! However, I was reading that I'm not supposed to put that I've started af until I have a heavy flow -
but I NEVER have a heavy flow. It's usually very light. Should I put that I started when I start spotting or cramping, which is usually a couple hours after I start spotting?

I use the first day of red blood, but I still mark the spotting.

I mark day 1 as the first day I have more than a small spot on underwear/pad. If it's only there when wiping I call it spotting.

I usually mark the first day of "light" flow as opposed to spotting. Good luck!
