Last night I forgot to set my alarm so my temp got taken an hour later at 9am. I took it twice when the first reading said 98.18 and sure enough it said the same thing the second time. GRRR!!! and then FF gives me CH's for cd10 you've got to be kidding me right!?!?!?!? I know there is no way my body O'd that early in my cycle. I dont even think thats possible is it?? help girls!! I'm driving myself bonkers over here!! I remember FF did this to me when I had my 40 day cycle and I'm really hoping and praying I O this month!! what is with my body!!!

p.s. I posted this in TTC#1 too and they said it is possible for me to O that soon. My temps are higher than last cycle. The only thing I dont get is I didnt have much CM those days but when we BD'd it was at night and I would sleep with my hips up and all that great stuff. So my question is do you think its possible I O'd that early in my cycle. My last cycle was 28 days with no O and the one before that was 40 days with no O. So I'm hoping and praying that FF is right and I'd this month!!

Hi! It is possible for you to O early in your cycle.. You could to go http://www.whenmybaby.com/basalbodytemperature.php and this has a temperature adjuster for you. It seems to me, more accurate than the one on FF. You put in the time you normally take your temp, then the time you actually took your temp, and then your temperature and it adjusts it for you! I had to do it once or twice becuase of the holidays..

well my temp this morning was 98.18 I did that adjuster and it said it would have been 97.98 so I put that into FF and it still gave me CH's for cd10 so I'm excited about that! thanks for the help!

I hope you O'ed if that's what you wanted, but I'd reserve your elation for once you've had 3 raised temps after today's. GL!

agreed! If you have 3 high temps then that is usually a sign that you o'ed... if you have 18 high temps, then its usually pretty safe to say that you are pregnant!
(of course, there are some woman's whose temps stay low in pregnancy, and everthing works out fine)

If you have two more high temps like today's, don't be surprised if FF changes your O. Although it is possible to O an CD 10, the temp spike today along with the more fertile CM yesterday points to CD 10 NOT being the day you O'd.
