Ok, so i'm TTC for the third month. I have been taking my BBT since my last cycle but i'm not quite sure i'm looking for or what I'm doing. Could someone help????
Fertility Friend is pretty common, as well as the Taking Charge of Your fertility software, Ovusoft. Are you using either one of those? Or are you doing it yourself?
If you are not using software you should have some type of paper chart. What you will look for is to have a dip, or lower temps that coincide with the start of fertile CM. Then you will get a temp shift, this shift should be three temps that are .2 higher than the previous 6 temps. When the thermal shift starts you should also see a drying up of your CM. It will be eggwhite or watery, then the thermal shift will happen and the CM should become creamy, sticky, tacky or completely dry.
I personally like the Ovusoft programs better then FF. Fertility friend often jumps the gun and gives an ovulation date too soon, only to change the date or completely take it away.
You can use Ovusoft free at ivillage.com.
