Well this is still my first cycle after my miscarriage (11 weeks, D&C) and I have gotten back into charting to try to get some understanding of my body regulating. According to the doctor we should try to wait 2 cycles before TTC again.

For the past 7 days I have had a ton of EWCM and for the past 6 I have had almost consistent temperatures. I *never* had a consistent BBT at any part of my cycles in the past. I know it can take the body a while to regulate after a miscarriage so I guess my question is, am I really ovulating or is this my hormones just going wacky?

well, I've actually heard you are typically very fertile right after a miscarriage, so it's entirely possible for you to be ovulating.

It could very well be the real thing, but as you know - only time will tell! It can take your body a few attempts like this to ovulate with mucus patches that are longer than they were before, or it might happen with this mucus patch too! It's not foolproof, but when your temps seem to level out - that's a good sign. It's not unusual for bouncier temps to level off a bit right before ovulation.

I agree with Shawna--I have several fertile patches as well during a cycle, so it could be it, or it could just be an attempt.

Good luck, Kati!
