Are you temping at the same time each day with at least 3 hours of sleep???

Also...orally or vaginally??

I sleep with my mouth open and my oral temps looked like your chart. I just started temping vaginally and it made a huge difference! Good luck!!!

Pre-o temps are often rocky like that. It might not look as crazy in a few days.

Don't get discouraged by crazy pre-O temps, they're usually weird!

So you are not using your first morning waking temperature? That could be why they are all over the place as well. I set my alarm to go off a certain time each morning (6:15) and i immediately take my temp, My BBT Thermometor is on my nightstand table in my room next to my alarm clock, with my chart. Then if I don't hear my kids up and running, I'll go back to sleep (well, thats how it is on weekends, but right now I have to get up and get one of them ready for school).

I've always heard the most accurate bbt temp was when you use the temp right when you wake up. (after you've had at least 3 hours of sleep)

You actually need to take your first morning temps, before you get out of bed in order for temping to be accurate for fertility tracking. That's probably why they are so bouncy. Your body temperature will fluctuate throughout the day based on physical activity, even from things as simple as getting dressed, having a shower, eating breakfast - so that's why it's important to take it after at least two hours of sleep, first thing in the morning, before you do anything.

You should take your temperature before your feet hit the floor before getting out of bed in the morning. Otherwise it isn't really your BBT (basal body temperatute) instead it is just your temperature.

Everyone has questions when they first start. That is why we are all here, to learn from one another! So ASK AWAY!
