Temp rise without ovulation

I am 29 dpo with out a bfp or af. I started temping after my dd cut her nursing sessions back to 3-4 session from 6-8 and she started sleeping through the night. AF has not returned since I had my last baby in march 08. I got a temp rise about 20 days after I started charting and it has stayed up but I don't know what is going on. I did have what I am not sure is eggwhite cm I think it was semen obscured cm. I just marked it as eggwhite because I wasn't sure. here is a link to my chart.

When I just went to the bathroom I had a ton of EWCM and I know that it isn't semen obscured so does that mean I didn't ovulate?

If you're still having EWCM, I would say it's safe to say you haven't Od yet. EWCM is really stretchy, you can stretch it between your finger and thumb.

Well FF finally moved my crosshairs. I think it is more accurate I am hoping that this is finally it and I am going to be getting my first ppaf.

Well, from teh looks of your BD schedule, don't be surprised if you get a BFP and not your first PPAF.

I would be thrilled with a bfp but unless the pills I missed have an effect then I don't think i'll be so lucky. My temps were screwed up last week and I am beginning to wonder if I ovulated last week (we were at the inlaws for the holidays). I had lot of cm and sore breasts, then this week when I got the dip and then spike I spotted which has never happened for me during ovulation. I have so IC hpt's once they get here I think I am going to test.

I started charting because I thought af was on her way and I wanted to know what was going on. Plus I like to see the ovulation on the chart, it wasn't suppose to be this hard to see it though.

OH!!!! You're on the Pill???? That changes everything! I was scratching my head over your chart, wondering if you bought a new thermometer back around the time of the first thermal shift, or if you started taking temps at a new time, or something. Now it all makes sense!

The Pill is why! The Pill contains synthetic progesterone - the hormone responsible for raising the basal body temperature, so anytime you are taking active Pills it's possible for your temp to be elevated, but that doesn't mean ovulation has occurred. If/when ovulation does occur on the Pill, it may or may not be possible to detect it with charting because your temps will already be affected by the synthetic progesterone. The progesterone will also keep the lining of your uterus unstable so that if conception occurs, the pregnancy will not be successful. The Pill can increase the production of less fertile kinds of CM and damage your cervix so it can't produce as much of the good quality CM. All of that makes it difficult to track ovulation with the CM record as well. Sore breasts and other pregnancy symptoms are common side effects of the Pill.
