am a bit stuck!!! On a Saturday I have to get up extra early because of work and I don't sleep well so my temp taking is always a bit iffy!

Anyhoo...this month, Jan 4th, was a critical day in pinpointing my ovulation and I don't know what to put!

I woke up at 4am after a restless night but was probably the best temp after deeper sleep and it was 36.22. Entering that puts my ovulation as day 18 (and as I have an average LP of 8 I should get my AF Monday) but then I did take another temp closer my true wake up time - but my sleep wasn't really deep and my temp was 36.55. This puts my ovulation on day 17.

If I discard the whole reading for that day it puts my ovulation on day 14!!!

So which do I use???

I am taking Agnus Castus to try to lengthen my LP so would be thrilled if it was day 14...but I don't know. Seems too good to be true. Fertility friend only puts a dotted line for 14 or 18 but a definite red line for day 17 so do I stick with 36.55, day 17, as my 'ovulation day'. I had a bit of EWCM day 19 which makes me think 18 might be closer.

(my previous chart I was sick and ill so I had a spike and then lowish temps but I believe my ovulation day was day 20)

I'm not regular and have ovulated from day 15 to day 24 before now (with cycle length varying from 24 to 31 days to match) so I can't rely on previous data. One thing I have on most cycles is a day 4 dip so that would confirm day 17 this cycle.

Thanks if you read through all that!

(ttc for over a year now)

Hi. Im Jolene. 31 years old. I suffered three years of a short luteal phase and didnt think I could get pregnant again without medical assistance but fell pregnant by accident and naturally. I am really happy and excited to be having a baby although knowing Im going it alone this time is a bit daunting and scary!

Hmmmm...I'm not 100% convinced...but maybe a few more days of temps will tell for sure!

Well looks like I'm out this month. I am gonna go with day 17 cos that puts my LP at 8, which is what it has been the most. I was hoping I could get to a 10 day LP at least though!

Do you know why? Do you breastfeed? I am breastfeeding my daughter so I don't know if its that causing my short LP...but as so many BF-ing moms still get pregnant I don't know if its related.
