Hi ladies,

I'm sorry if this is kind of long. I have a question and would really appreciate some feedback, (sorry if some of it is TMI).

Well, last month (Dec.) AF came on time and I had a normal cycle. I O'd on the 25th (Christmas Day) and then my temps did what they always do after O'ing (this is my 9th month charting).

My average pre-O temps range from 97.0 to 97.5 on average, and are pretty consistent. My post-O temps always range from 98.0 to 98.5 on average, with a cover line around 97.6 most months - again pretty consistent. Then on the day before AF shows my temp always drops down below my coverline signaling AF is about to start.... like clockwork.

Last month (from Dec. 26th) my temp went up to 98.0 (which is normal), but then they have pretty much stayed in the 98.0 to 98.7 range since then - never falling below 98.0. AF came on time, but a little lighter than usual - 2 days spotting, 2 days medium, then 2 more days spotting (I normally have 2 days heavy and 2 days light); but my temps are still way up there.

I am now on CD 9 or 18dpo which ever way you want to look at it, with very high temps but 3 BFN's whenever I did a HPT. If I count this as a new cycle then my coverline will be drawn at 98.7...that's crazy! But I also can't count it as part of my old cycle because I got those BFN's.

I have also spent the last 3 days very gassy and with very bad nausea which doesn't seem to want to go away, but I don't have a cold or fever. How much peppermint tea can I drink for goodness sakes ...lol. I went to the doctor today and she didn't even give me a pregnancy test. She just said to take it easy and update her in a week.

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read my rant. These high temps are really strange. Anyone has any ideas at all? If I chart this as a new cycle, how do I justify a coverline of 98.7?

There is a possiblilty your temp will drop down to its normal level before O. Or that you are pregnant and it just isn't showing up yet.

I agree with Meghan. I would wait a few days and test again if things haven't gone back to normal.
