Hey there. I have a question. I checked my cervix this morning, and it is high and closed. But I'm having cramps. What is the position of the cervix in regards to menstruation? I thought it would be low and open. I can't find anything on the net.

THanks!!!!

According to TCOYF book (pg. 63-65), the cervix is low, firm, closed, and nonwet before menstruation

Just something to think about, does your cervix move much? Mine doesn't change positions, thanks to scar tissue, so I have to rely on open or closed.

Mine does, but I don't have any scar tissue.
