THis whole post is pretty TMI - sorry...
Well, this is my second month charting...
Last month, I Oed on CD31 (~I think, I didn't have my BBT and just put in a number for Thursday/Friday)...but it was very obvious (perfect EWCM, O pains, etc.) - but since it was over CHristmas, I also didn't have my OPKs with me...I got back to my house on Friday (12/26) and quickly took an OPK, and it was close to + but not quite...
That I was ok...thought that since I had that practice under my belt, then I should be super good for this month...and would know the signs...
BUT, this month, EVERYTHING is different - granted, I'm only on CD18...but my temps are much higher than they were before...and now I'm flipping out because Friday, I had creamy CM - much more than I ever had last month at any time except when I was Oing, but I took an OPK and it was glaringly negative...and the last two days, my BBTs are a bit higher...
UGH! Do you think I could have Oed on Friday (even though I had a very negative OPK), and missed it?
I don't know what is going on!!
DH is really stressed at work (basically his funding is conditional on whether he can produce a product for a company - and its really difficult to do), and is working super long days, so, we aren't DTD every day...so, I really need to time this right...
Can you look at my chart and LMK what you think...
Also, 3 months ago, I was exercising a lot (that's what made my period longer in the first place about a year ago), now I'm not...Also, last month, we traveled a lot, this month, we aren't traveling at all...last month, I was stressed, this month I'm not...last month I was eating horribly, this month I'm not...you get the idea...
I also started taking B6/FA and a variety of vitamins starting right around O time last year (so I'm assuming its in my systems now, but wasn't last month)...
PS-The open circles the last 2 days are cause I woke up 1 hour later...so, its not that they should be "really" off...
UGH!

Well, if your chart is completely different that's because you're a completely normal, healthy woman. The #1, most important rules of charting is that each cycle is unique. Past cycles don't predict future cycles.
Sounds like you have a lot going on. Stress, drastic change in diet or the amount of exericse you're getting, travel - it can all affect the immediate cycle and even a few afterwards.
Just keep charting, you're doing fine - and judge each day's fertility based on what your body is telling you that day. Don't worry about what cycle day is or what what happened last cycle, each cycle is unique.
As for O on Friday, did you notice feeling very wet and slippery before that? Has that changed now and you feel much drier?

LOL...and here I thought I had it all figured out!?
I really don't think that I Oed on Friday - but the indications were there: more CM than previously, and then the increased (slightly) BBT on Sat/Sun (and I'm not used to this much CM), and Friday, higher CP than previously (but not super soft)...I shouldn't compare...but, I haven't Oed that early in over a year, so if I did, I would be shocked!
Also, before Friday - I was dry...and since Friday, its been creamy...it didn't dry up after Friday at all...
Do you think that it means that more than likely I'm gearing up still?

Don't get discouraged that this cycle is completely different from the last. I always noticed with my own cycles that one ovary ovulated sooner than the other ovary. So one cycle would be around 33 days and the next would be around 29 days. Alternating back and forth. That's why charting is so great! Because it enables you to know what's going on each individual cycle. You'll find out your own cycle pattern within the next few cycles. If you don't end up getting pregnant first! GL and keep on charting. You'll figure it out, I promise!

It's amazing what stress can do to your cycles! I hope things calm down for your DH soon too.
Good luck!

If you didn't dry up then you can't confirm ovulation yet. Chances are your body is still working on it.

I had a harder time reading your chart. Is there a reason you don't start temping earlier? If I didn't have your other chart to look at I would say it was possible you O'd on cd13. I don't think you did, but you can see what I mean about trends, without those earlier days its hard to tell if you do have a temperature shift earlier on one month.
