Hey, I'm Nami, me and my husband will be TTC #2 soon and I wanted to chart to help it go more easy. I more or less understand how to chart and it seems easy enough. Now my question, it's about temping. From what I understand is you have to have so many hours of sleep before temping but hardly get that. The most hours I sleep without waking up is an hour, sometimes 2 if I'm lucky(thanks to my son that never sleeps.). Is there any way I could still chart temps even though I don't get much sleep, or will the no sleep always effect my temps?

All you can really do is try it and see! In the meantime, you can rely on the information your CM is giving you. It's just a reliable for confirming ovulation if you have the proper knowledge about how to interpret it.

IDK since FF suggests having atleast 3 hours of uninterrupted sleep.

I agree with Shawna. Also using OPK's in addition to checking CM can assist in letting you know when you're about to ovulate. You can start using them as soon as the first day after your period ends depending upon how long your cycles are.

3 hours of uninterrupted sleep.. that would be heaven! I guess for now I'll stick with just checking CM and if it takes too long I'll try temping after. Thanks ladies.
