I got a positive OPK Saturday, but there still is no temperature spike and its Monday.

1. What does that mean?

2. If I never get a temp spike, could the test have been wrong and I am not ovulating, or could I be ovulating and my temp is not reflecting it?

1. OPK's turn positive 12-36 hours before ovulation. Then the ova can live up to 24 hours. Temps shift upwards after ovulation. Sometimes temps can take an extra day or two to rise in response to the fact that ovulation has occurred.

2. A positive OPK does not guarantee that ovulation will be successful. The process of ovulation can be interrupted, even after a positive OPK. It just tells you that your body is trying to ovulate, not a guarantee that your body will complete the process.

Give it a few more days to determine whether or not ovulation has occurred or not.

When does it give the crosshairs, I have two days of slightly higher temps, today's was .24 higher than my highest temp before I got the opk. I think I maybe O'd on CD 14, does my chart seem like that the case, even without cross hairs? I hope we made it, we BD'd that night and 24 hours before that.

I get positive OPK's for 3 days and then I O on the 3rd day.

Crosshairs show up when you have 3 consecutive temp rises so either tomorrow or Friday you can look at your chart and see crosshairs. By then you'll be either 3 or 4 dpo. The crosshairs will more than likely be present on your lowest temp CD14 or on CD 15.

Goodluck!
