Hello everyone! I figured charting moms would be the best to help me with this question...Let me give you a brief backgroung.

Gave birth to #1 in June '08. M/c in September '08...didn't have AF again until 11/6/08. Got on depo 11/10/08 until SO and I decided we were ready. Hated Depo from the jump...at first it felt like early pregnancy and then I spotted pretty much everyday from 12/31/08 until about a week ago...Due for next shot no later than 2/6/09, and decided to pass clearly.

BD last Wednesday (2/11/09). Last Friday, I start getting some of my typical O symptoms, lips get very dry, crampy, bloated, etc...Saturday, I decide to check my CP, and it was very high, almost unreachable and my CM was wet. I don't get ewcm...didn't have it when I got pregnant with my DD, so...

Today, still feel very bloated, yesterday was nauseated terribly, I've been getting very hungry...all of which is not so unusual for me post O pre-AF, but also happened when I was pg with DD. Today I checked my CP again, and it is still VERY high and my CM is now milky white, but wet, not thick or sticky...Problem is, I don't very much remember this stuff from before I got pregnant with my daughter, so can someone please help if you can?

Sorry if this isn't a good place for this question...please excuse the Newbie.

Do you check at a certain time, or during various times throughout the day. Each woman is different and thus cm and cp may be different for everyone.

For me, after O, my CP stays at a medium state for a while, sometimes it moves up high and sometimes it's lower until af comes and then it goes wayyy low. After ovulation, my CM get really creamy (like lotion) for a while until a few days before af. Before and during O, my CM is a mix between watery wet and egg-whites and SUPER HIGH. If you were me, I'd say that you've probably already O'ed based upon the creamy CM. But because you dont chart and havent mentioned anything about using OPK's, unfortunately I cant give you a more accurate response.

Good luck though!

Hello there. What exactly is your question? [/b]

I'm wondering why my CP is HIGH! I mean, barely reachable. It's been this way since Saturday. Did I O? If I o'ed shouldn't it be lower now?

Thank you. Nope, I don't chart in the sense that I do not temp because I don't get up at the same time everyday. I check CP in the morning, and happened to check today after lunch and it was still high. I too think I o'ed since my CM changed, but shouldn't my cervix have come down a bit by now? I know we're all different...the only time I remember my CP even being this high is when I was pg.

usually your cervix should be low after o. I have a hard time predicting without a chart though. I hope you get your answer/.

Thank you...that's what I thought...CP is still very high. I'm wondering how much me stopping depo has to do with this though. I don't chart in the conventional sense because I don't temp, but I monitor CP and CM, as well as bloating, cramping, etc, and am usually bang on. I can pretty much predict O and AF without checking any of these though. My O symptoms and PMS haven't changed much in the past three or four years...so now I'm just waiting to test or AF...

Hi and !! My daughter was due in June, but was born in May--you ought to come visit us over the on June 08 PR!

First off, I would say that it's possible that you're still coming off of the depo, and may not O right away. However, you could, and maybe what you're experiencing is a good sign!

Good luck!

Hi! And thank you for the invitation! I think I will . My cervix has returned to a medium and firm position, so who knows really now, except I am having the weirdest cramps...well not cramps, but tightness, discomfort in my abdomen and lower back. Ahhh, whatever. Time will tell...although I did just order some cheapies.
