Hi ladies,

I stumbled upon this website and it looks like a great and supportive place to be for women who are TTC. I just started charting and temping this Thursday with hopes of figuring out my cycle. But the past three days (and I am near the end of my cycle) my temp. has been around 98.4 degrees every morning. Does this seem high to anyone? PLEASE!!!!!

it's possible you already ovulated and that's why your temps are higher. though some women typically have higher temps. It's nearly impossible to tell at this stage in your cycle with so few temps whether you are post-O, but I'd venture to guess you are (this is why they say to start charting at the beginning of your cycle).

Welcome, Katie! This is a wonderful place to get support and encouragement! Okay, so if you are nearing the end of your cycle (I'm assuming you think you o'ed already?) Then 98.4 is a perfectly normal temp as post o temps go. Mine hangs around 98.2 after o usually. Hang in there. It's gonna take a couple of cycles to figure it all out!

Thanks ladies!! I know I already O'd. I have a short cycle, anywhere around 22-24 days so I am interested in figuring this all out. I wanted to start charting early so I could get into a routine. I am hoping since I started early it will make it easier for me to remember to do it!
