ok well i am new to using OPK's. after doing research i decided to try the $1 ones. so i bought the last 3 they had!! i guess they are popular and i ended up going to 3 stores before finding them!! But anyways.......i am on cd 13 and i have the white lotiony cm and its getting wetter..........i was wondering if i should use one of my opk or should i wait to get the ewcm?? hubby and i are ttc #3 and are swaying for a boy so were trying to bd very close to ovulation. usually i get the white lotiony cm for 2-3 days then its wet then its the ewcm that is stretchy and a lot of it!! what do you all think?? test today or wait??

If I were you I'd test twice a day starting on probably CD 10. Sometimes people miss their LH surge by testing once a day. And when you get your LH surge (positive OPK where the test line is equal to or darker than the control line) then you're probably going to ovulate 12-36 hours afterwards. So I'd start testing now, in hopes that you havent missed your surge. By the time you get EWCM you might be ovulating or close to ovulating and your OPK's will probably be negative by then.

Yup, you need to go get some more! If you're going to use opk's, you need about 10 or more per cycle. That's if you start testing on cd 10 or 11, and you O before cd 15 or 16.

That's great that you know your body's signals! Based on that, I'd start testing when your cm becomes more wet.
