Hi Ladies,

As the title says, I'm somewhat new to charting, I've been tracking my bbt and other fertility signs for the last sixs week or so. I have a question concerning my current chart and I'm wondering if maybe some of you more experienced ladies can help me out!

Okay so here goes, I had a lot of stress this past month, which I believe delayed Ovulation, but I had a positive OPK on friday. Sat. I had a bbt dip and EWCM. And Sunday and Monday I had elevated temps. I was thinking that I ovulated on Sat. the 21st, but now I'm worried today because my temp went back down a lot lower and FF won't confirm ovulation until temps are up for 3 days. My CM is changed so I don't think I'm ovulating now. I guess I have a couple questions for you all. One, do you think I ovulated, and two should I be worried about the dip in my temperature today? I tried to post a link for my chart in my signature, but I'm actually not sure if I did it right.

I'd love to hear your feedback!

Thanks so much!

As of right now I would say it looks like you O'd on Saturday but if your temp is still down tomorrow I would say probably not. If it is back up then I am confident in saying yes I think you O'd Saturday. If you take a look back at my charts (my January cycle) you will see that I had a dip at 3DPO once before although it wasnt as durastic as yours but it was still a 3DPO dip. GOOD LUCK!

Thank you so much for your response! I checked out your charts and saw the dip 3dpo that you mentioned, and I noticed that you had a pregnancy that cycle. I must admit that that would be a great answer for my confusion, but I dare not be so hopeful. I am so sorry that you experienced a loss.

Thanks again for your input.

That's a tough one. I agree with Ashley, though. If your temp goes back up tomorrow, I'd says Sat was O day.

Good Morning!

Thats so sweet of you to check in about my temp! It actually went back up today, as you had predicted, so I'm really hoping that you two are right and that I did O on Saturday. Even though the temp was down yesterday, the other two temps since saturday are higher than any of temps before saturday (pre O?) and the other symptoms seem to fit with more with Saturday as O day as well.

Would you guys over-ride the FF advanced monitoring system and switch it to the opk this month? When I do that, it puts a line on Saturday?

What do you think? Thanks so much!

Wow that is a big jump! Did you use an opk at all yesterday or the day before, because that jump is so big its "possible" you may have actually O'd yesterday! I would try the "research" detector first and see of that gives you CH's and if not then go ahead and use the opk detector!

Good Luck!

Hi!

No, I did not use an opk yesterday and I"m feeling stupid for not doing it now. I think that because of my CM I was so busy thinking that I either O'd on Saturday, or was not going to this month. That information could have been so helpful, whoops! Do you have any idea if I could expect a faint line on an opk today if I did O yesterday, kind of how the faint line gets darker and darker before O as it gets closer to the actual positive result?

Hi and !!!

I've noticed when I've used OPKs in the past that I always have at least a faint line, before or after O. So, I would think if you've already Od, y ou'll get something when you test. If you *just* Od, perhaps there would be a bit darker of a line as the hormone recedes.

Good luck!

Thanks so much, thats actually really, really helpful. I took an O test later on the day of my previous post and there was a line that was so faint you could barely tell it was there, it made me think that I had definitely not ovulated just one day previously. And now FF has put cross hairs on last Saturday, so I'm starting to feel more confident that that was the day.

Thanks Again!
