Well I never thought I'd bother temping, but I read that you only need 3 consecutive hours of sleep (I had previously thought 6 was the requirement) so I went and got a BBT thermo yesterday. I was surprised to see when I opened it that it says for oral use only. Anyone else temp with an oral BBT thermo? Is it as accurate?
Also, my temps seem oddly low on it. I've always had somewhat low temps, down in 97 is typical for me. But last night I took my temp just out of curiosity and it was 95.56.
I set my alarm for 6:30 this morning and took my temp in bed without having spoken or done anything else and it was 96.97.
Does a BBT always read so low? Should I just record what I get and look for a pattern on the chart from using the same thermo, or do I need to pay as much attention to the temps themselves as to the pattern it makes on the chart?
I still haven't had any CM changes to think I may have O'd. I've had that strange increase in libido ,the O symptom that was missing last month even though last month there were CM changes. Which is the more important symptom to indicate O---CM changes, or you body "telling" you when is the best time to DTD? A few days I've had the tiniest amounts of the sticky gluey CM but it was just so scant I wrote in "dry" on my FF calendar.
Just last week I worked up the courage to try and start checking my cervix. I haven't noticed any change in position or firmness. It could be because I'm still so new to it and changes are so slight. Any advice for me there?
Thanks!
