I woke up a bunch of times last night, sleeping is actually getting MORE difficult! I normally temp at 6:30.
At 2:00 I got 98.44 and I slept very poorly until about 4:00 I think, and got 97.85. That's the one I put in my chart, but I clicked off the "discarded" box.
I drank some tea and took some Benedryl and did manage to sleep from about 5:00 until 9:00. I was awake for a few minutes but hadn't gotten out of bed when I decided to temp again just to see what it was and I got 98.23.
Now, that last one was after the minimum required 3 hours of sleep, and just around within the 2 1/2 hours from my normal temp time.
I still think no matter what, today's temp needs to "not count" officially, but I'm curious which one to believe the most and have on my chart just for reference since I don't like blanks. Even though that 3rd temp seems to be within guidelines of the standard rules, it's just so much higher than what appears to be normal for me these past few days.
I don't know my exact O date this month, but it was later than usual so even though I'm on CD30 I still can't say AF is due yet and I doubt I'd get a positive test. I think at best I'm 11DPO. I would guess AF could be as late as even next Tuesday not still not be "late" because of O-ing late.
This is very frustrating. I feel like I'm having more PMS symptoms and I don't think I'm feeling any pregnancy symptoms. But check out my chart and lemme know what ya think!
Thanks ladies!

Lady, you're going to make yourself crazy!! Honestly, once you've gotten 4 or 5 temps past ovulation, you really don't need to temp anymore. Of all three of those temps, I'd go with the one taken at 4am. But really, any of them would work.
As long as you take your temp, and it is above 97.5, or so, you can count it. All the temps you've discarded lately, you can probably count without any worry.
You're at a minimum of 11 days past ovulation right now.

It's the sleep deprivation that's driving me crazy!
Thanks. I'm going to keep temping because I'm really curious and now it's become a habit, but thanks for letting me know not to worry about it anymore.

Have a good one!

Yeah, the sleep deprivation would drive me crazy, too!
I agree that you should keep temping. It's best to make it a habit. But, just remember that at this point it's not as important than it is between cd 9-20 ish. Temps go up and down and all over the place. That's completely normal. Post ovulation, you only need to see that they stay above your coverline. Even going to, or just below is often okay, too.
Taking temps is a way for us to see when and if we ovulated. Once you've temped for many cycles, you may be able to start "seeing" other info from it. But, really, it's only to verify ovulation. So, once you've done that, all the rest is just for fun, so to say.
There have been mornings when I take my temp, and think, "There's no way my temp should be that low!" So, I take it again, at which point I get a higher temp, but not much higher. So, when I get up for the day, I go to chart my temp. Only to realize that it really didn't matter which temp I would have used. Neither one indicated I was about to ovulate, or indicated that I did ovulate. Then I feel silly for for being silly. lol

Well mt temp jumped to 98.23 this morning, but I got a BFP. I think I'm 12 DPO.
Figures, I've been witchy but only with a different letter at the beginning of the word and a few other PMS symptoms, and no preg symptoms.
I need a nap.

I guess my mind was sending subliminal messages to my fingers or something. I had a BFN today. I guess I've typed BFP so many times for the other ladies here I just did it without thinking.
No, negative, one line.
Sorry about the typo.

I think it drops the day you O, but not necessarily always. You should know AFTER you O when your temp goes up and stays up for at least 3 days. Here's my chart, I think I O'd on day 19 according to temp. CM seems to match up with that.

That's a good jump! Things are still looking good! I still think the latest you could be is 10dpo, and I don't think that's the case. Personally, if I were you, I'd be testing every day from now until I got my period. But, that's me. I think you said that you aren't a big POAS-aholic, right? In that case, I would probably wait until at least Wednesday to test. Of course, being the POAS pusher that I am, I say keep testing. LOL!!!

Ok I went and took another test and it was a BFN too. I really don't know how to deal with this emotionally. On the one hand I've never gotten an early BFP. With DD I have a negative blood test on 13DPO and it was 4 days later at 17DPO that I got a very faint BFP on a home test.
On the other hand, I have NO pregnancy symptoms. I'm having my usual PMS crankiness and I had a small acne breakout that's already cleared up. No soreness in my bbs or cravings. My cramps are confusing, I don't know if they feel preggie or PMS-y.
My temp dropped back this morning, so maybe yesterday was just the peak before it falls back to normal for AF's arrival. Since this is my first month BBT-ing I have nothing to compare that to.
After having been pregnant 5 times in cycle one it's really making me panic that it now appears my 2nd cycle this time around wasn't successful. I'm so scared something's wrong and I won't get to have my last baby. I just don't know what to do.

You're still well above where your coverline would be. If you're a late BFP person you could still be in the running. You're only about 13 DPO. And as far as something being wrong, I doubt it. Chances are you're just not as young as you used to be. As we age the quality of our eggs goes down, so the older you are the longer it can take to get pg. Never mind the fact that in any given month you could time it perfectly and still only have a 25-30% chance of getting pregnant.

Thanks. I'm trying to stay upbeat. My temp did go up just a little bit this morning.
And yes I'm older. I just turned 30, that magical age where fertility "starts to decline." I really hate being all doom and gloom, but whenever I actually manage to get my BFP ya'll are going to see a whole different Fox.
I'll keep you posted. The witch still isn't here so I'm still hoping.

How funny, I'm turning 30 in May. And the only reason I brought it up at all was because you said something about multiple kids so I figured you weren't 20 anymore. KUP!

Ah, to be 20 again. lol
I'm going crazy waiting for AF. I'm very certain I'm not preg and that AF is on the way, I just wish my body would get a flaming move-on already! I want to start a new cycle so I can put this useless one behind me! But my temp just keeps going up.
I think one of the biggest reasons I don't think I'm preg (other than the negative tests obviously) is that I have not had any changes in my boobs. I can't really tell size changes anymore since my BA surgery in Sept. But they are not sore, and my nips aren't getting darker. In fact, they even look a little lighter! Ugh.
I just wish this cycle was over already.
