What is your opinion, thoughts or experience regarding lots of creamy cm AFTER ovulation?
This is the first cycle where I have had it daily since ovulation..I am reading and looking online and seeing it as a very good indicator of pregnancy (but of course you also get a handful who have the same pattern but are not pregnant). I just had quite a bit today, and stretchy although I am calling it creamy rather than ewcm as the more I stretched it the more it broke down into a smooth creamy texture (TMI, sorry)
I'm not getting my hopes up, well, trying not to, although it seems a looong wait before I will know!

It can be normal to have creamy CM after ovulation. The only stipulation is that you should feel much drier than you did around the time of ovulation (not as wet and definitely not slippery).

I don't agree with your chart though. I don't think your thermal shift begins until CD21, but the CM pattern doesn't seem to confirm ovulation at all. Were you at all wet or slippery around the time of that spotting on CD18?

Oh thanks! I just had a BEAUTIFUL rise in temp today! I'll be so shocked and amazed if I was pregs - darn waiting - everyday is going snail pace now with hoping AF doesn't show!

Although thats one thing I love about charting - a high morn temp means I can relax for the day as I won't get AF until a drop in temp.

Shawna - hmm, the spotting was so minute (one tiny dot) I wasn't sure whether to add it but thought I would anyways. I can't remember now about slippery? I had a strange cycle anyways because I had no EWCM or anything really before ovulation. I felt wet but dry - erm, how to explain? Wet to touch but when I felt my fingers they were dry? And then I got a terrible mood, couldn't sleep, sore boobs all around ovulation when usually I don't get that until after ovualtion. My temps before and upto ovulation are probably not too accurate because of not sleeping.
But I am sure I ovulated CD16 because - besides FF confirming it - I get ovulation pains and I got it CD15-night.

Its certainly a weird one! I have had a short luteal phase for over a year and only just been taking B6 - which gave me my first 10day LP last cycle - so maybe its changing my hormones around a little. But hoppefully also put me in with a chance at a BFP at last!

Oh don't worry about what you feel with your fingers! That doesn't work. The nerve endings of the vulva (external genetalia) are so sensitive you can feel mucus as a wetness or a feeling of lubrication/slipperiness. It's more sensitive than your fingers! So you need only pay attention to how wet you're feeling down there as you go about your day, no need to touch the mucus or anything. That might be what's making this a bit confusing for you.

Oh thanks! That explains alot! Actually I had creamy then very wet yesterday - but that can be a sign of AF so I was a bit worried about today BUT I have just had a very loverly high temp (higher than normal) so I know its not coming today yipee!
Actually I am 'wet' today - it feels like I am getting drips coming out but when I check there doesn't seem to be anything Does that count as 'watery' on my chart?

I'm getting very very hopeful about this cycle but scared too that its going to end in nothing (well, end in AF)

I just told hubby - about the creamy cm and temp being good signs and he was really negative and 'yeah yeah' which makes me feel sad although I can understand and I was trying so hard not to tell him my hopes. But I feel he SHOULD know and understand where my head is at the mo....*Sigh*

Your chart is looking great! And creamy cm after O can be normal but it can also be a good sign. The first time I was pregnant I had a TON of creamy cm! Good Luck!
