Sorry if I keep asking questions but since this is my first month charting I am still trying to understand everything.

When you look at my last cycle's chart do the two temperatures under the red line count as part of a healthy LP period or only the temperature above the line counts? I am just trying to see if my LP time is too short to conceive a healthy baby. Thanks again

The time from the mucus Peak until the start of actual flow is how you count your LP, not by temps. The temps can start to drop before or after the LP is actually over. Pre-menstrual spotting days are also included in the LP.

Judging by you last chart, I'd say your LP is 10 days. That's borderline. 11-16 is considered healthy, under 10 is considered too short.

Have you recently discontinued hormonal contraceptive? If so, the effects of the medication can affect your fertility for up to 18 months after stopping - longer if you had the Depo Provera injection.

I agree with Shawna. coming off BCP my luteal phase started at 10 days and went up. I hope the same will hold true for you!

No I haven't been om BCP for over a year (they never agreed with me and eventually I just quit) I have started taking B6 vitamins in hopes of raising the LP. I hope they help.

How do you find out the mucus peak?

You pay attention to what you feel as you go about your day and also note anything you happen to see on toilet paper (no internal exams). Peak is recognized when the mucus:

1. Develops and changes over a matter of days
2. Becomes slippery
3. Dries up drastically

The last day of slippery mucus is the Peak day. Ovulation usually occurs on Peak day, but can occur on the first or second day after Peak as well.

FF uses the temperatures to confirm ovulation. Recognizing the Peak is how you use mucus to confirm it.
