Ok so that's not a new thing, my charts are usually difficult to understand. This time, I really think I O'd but I'm still not sure when. Temps and CM don't seem to match up. And I don't understand why when I switch to FAM it puts ch's on my first day of fertile cm- that makes no sense!Based on temps alone, and considering that I think my cd 29-33 temps were high because I was sick, I think it looks like I O'd around cd 40 or so. But cm doesn't match with that. Ack! I'm so frustrated!

Because of the disturbed temps due to illness, I think the best you can do is make a rough guess based on the mucus pattern. Ovulation generally occurs on the last day of slippery mucus, 1 day after, or up to 2 days after. So my stab in the dark is CD38, because that's the last time your marked wet mucus.

Thanks, that's close to what I was guessing also. Though I'm still not sure why the fertility awareness setting puts it at the first day of we cm, that makes NO sense! In a case like this should I manually put in ch's, or just leave it alone?

FF almost always interprets my chart wrong, so I always put in my own CH's. It relies very heavily on the temps, even when the mucus contradicts them. During the time you were sick, I'd go mark all of those temps as disturbed and then see what you get!

Didn't make any difference. I've played around with it a bunch and the best I get is dotted ch's on CD 28, which I'm positive isn't right. That's the first day of fertile CM, and it would put me at 20dpo which isn't right at all! I'm tempted to put in my own ch's on CD 38 but I've never done that before. Will it mess up anything in the future if I do that? Plus there is always the chance that I haven't actually O'd yet too. I'm having a ton of pre-AF symptoms though.

It won't mess anything up for later. FF is messed up anyway. LOL

Are there any other free programs I can use that are as easy as FF?

Also, what would my coverline be if I O'd on CD 38?

Free ones? I don't think so. Any of the really good ones you have to pay for. It's fine for the basics of TTC, you'll get used to knowing when it's wrong.

As for your cover line....on second though, I think I'd put it at 97.5 and move your ovulation date to CD40, which is also very possible.

So I don't really need a "better" program right now is what you're saying? Since I'm TTC rather than TTA? That's good to know, I guess. I like FF because it's easy to use for keeping track of everything, which really is all I need right now. It's just nice to know when I do O since my cycles are so irregular, that way I know to expect AF. (at this point I would be in complete shock if I did get a BFP rather than af!)

CD 40 was my original guess, so I'm going to go with that and see what happens over the next few days. Thanks for all the info, you're so helpful!

Yes, exactly. It's fine as long as you know not to believe everything FF says! And it's definitely NOT for TTA!
