Well, last month, I could spot down to the hour when I Oed (around 8am), and this month (my first on Clomid), I'm the most confused that I've ever been...

Ok, so normally I O on CD30+...

This time, I got a close to + OPK on CD16 and 17 - it was an ANswer OPK and dried + (if you know what I mean - they were "almost +" when wet, but dried to darker)...I also had some EWCM and CP got high and soft...at the same time, I was sick with a slight fever, so my temps were slightly elevated - so I cant track based on temps...

All of this added together well, and I thought that I Oed on CD17...but I didn't get any O pains (normally I do)...

On CD18, temp was up (was what my normal post O temp is), CP got noticeable hard and low, and CM dried up...also, OPKs went back to negative...

So, I was still pretty sure that I'd Oed, but now today, my temp is super low...like right at what my normal coverline is...even though I dont really know what my coverline is for this particular cycle)....

What do you think?
My CP is still hard and low
CM is creamy (normal after O)...
BUT, I have experienced mild O pains yesterday and today...fwiw...

Any help would be appreciated!

**UPDATE**
Today my temp was 98.86 - after very sound sleep...I think this should confirm O - I HOPE!

Since it's your first month on Clomid it's hard to say. Maybe the Clomid caused the egg to "pop right out" and the pains you felt later were post O pains? I feel O pains for about 3 days. The lower temp could be a fluke. Tomorrows temp should tell you more! *High Temp Dust*

Pains are not conclusive because you can feel them in the days leading up to ovulation (from the follicles in the ovaries being stimulated) - even if the attempt at ovulation is unsuccessful. You can feel pain from the ova rupturing through the ovary. And you can feel pain in the days following ovulation from the fallopian tubes contracting to propel the ova towards the uterus.

Try not to put too much stock in O pains, because it's impossible (without daily trans vaginal ultrasound) to know the exact cause of each pain. It also does not guarantee that ovulation was successful.

You also don't have enough temps to confirm a thermal shift yet. Today's temp could be a fluke, it could mean your body tried to ovulate and didn't go through with it. All you can do is wait and see!
