Okay so I am a total newbie when it comes to charting. I have started my chart on fertility friend, last month, but never entered anything into it, so this month I am trying again to stick to it!

I am on cycle day five so far, and we will see what the predicted fertile and actual fertile days are.

Is there any advice one could give on how to chart efficiently, or accurately?

Thanks,
Jodi

Hi Jodi! I'm new to this too and just created my chart on fertility friend last night. I'm interested to see what others have to say since I'm just starting too!

Hope we're on the right path!
Katie

Best tip: take a real charting class or course if you want to be really good at it (such as when using charting to avoid pregnancy). There are some really good ones out there. You'll learn from a teacher in about an hour what it can take months to figure out on your own.

Second best tip: just stick with it. It will make more sense the more practise you have.

There are home study courses, classes you can take through local health centers or churches, private teachers who will sit down with you in your home, etc. FF is just a crash course in the basics, it doesn't get into as much detail as a real course would.

Also good books to read are:

The Billings Method: Using the BOdy's Natural Signal of Fertility to Achieve or Avoid Pregnancy by Dr. Lyn Billings and Ann Westmore
Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler
