-ive OPK but fertile CM?

Hi Girls,

I've been getting fertile CM between days 16 and 23 on my last 12 cycles. So i'm currently around what i would think is my fertile time.

Yesterday and the day before (days 16 and 17) i used internet cheapie OPKs and got a negetive on both. This morning i noticed what i thought was fertile CM, but DF and i DTD on day 16, so i'm not sure if it is fertile CM or just leftover semen. (sorry that sounds a bit gross!) But it was deffo egg white and stretchy rather than watery. But i would have thought i'd have got a least a bit of a line on my OPK's even if not a +ive, but there was barely a line there at all.

Any thoughts?

I often start getting fertile cm before I get a positive OPK. I don't always have the most fertile looking cm on the day I ovulate. Sometimes the best looking cm comes a day or two before I ovulate. I don't think it is unusual to have fertile cm before you ovulate.
