Actually I have. I don't know that it is necessary though. I am not going to bd more than I do now. I usually can tell when I ovulate by using opks and charting. I do think that it might be helpful but I like charting so I don't necessarily think I need it.

I actually own an ovacue fertility monitor. It was very expensive and it didn't work. It never predicted o properly. But it might have been because I wasn't ovulating then..

Anyhoo. I much prefer opking. I need to sell the thing.

I had not really thought about it either but my friend bought one. What is the difference between them and OPK's anyway?

Nah. For the Clearblue you have to have cycle length that fits into a certain range, and mine SUPER DON'T. I've had several clients waste their money on the Ovacue and that didn't work for them either, it was completely out of line with their charts. So I go with the cheap fertility monitor - CM. It's free.

It depends on which one you use. The Clear Blue Easy monitor checks for estrogen and luteneizing hormone, whereas opks only test for luteneizing hormone.

Some of the others check your saliva for ferning patterns and some check for salt crystals or something like that.

I used Clear Blue Easy monitor this cycle first time. It showed me all LOWS, starting with CD6 until CD25. According to my temps, I O'd CD22. LOL, I either have a broken one or it's getting used to my cycles. If it won't show me High or Peak next cycle, I consider it broken
