How long did it take you to get pregnant with your last pregnancy?
Do you feel like you know more about ttc now than you did before or about the same?

It only took us three cycles last time. This time it is taking us longer because I only have one fallopian tube. I think I know about the same as last time.

My first 2 were BC babies (most of the BC pills are not effective for me) and this one was concieved the first cycle we were officially TTC.

It took us 3 months of trying but I only charted one cycle and that is when I got pregnant. My cycles were never regular so for the first 2 months when I went off of the calendar method we missed the mark BIG TIME!! So then I got TCOYF and I read it from cover to cover and then did even more research online. We got pregnant that month. So this time TTC I was naive in thinking that we would get PG the first try since I was charting. But I guess it isn't really wrong to hope. I feel I know about the same as I did last time except that now I realize that the "early pregnancy symptoms" are probably in my head since I didn't get any real symptoms until after I got my BFP.

It took us almost 3 years to conceive Seamus. We weren't charting or anything... just having unprotected sex.

I learned a MASSIVE amount of information from charting this time around. Stuff I wasn't taught in sex ed. I wish I knew all this information when we were TTC Seamus, I think it definitely would have cut down on the amount of time it took us to get pregnant. This time it took us just under a year (I charted for 6 cycles).

Yeah I can definitely agree that they don't teach you any of this stuff in sex-ed. From what I learned in high school, if you had sex there was a great chance you would get pregnant. And then you realize when you start TTC that it is really much harder than that.

It took us 5 cycles to TTC Reagan. It took us 1 cycle (charting) to conceive little Liam here. I did chart for WTTC for 4 cycles before that though.

My first was a surprise, when I was 18. My second we were NTNP while my ex husband was waiting to be deployed, conceived on my 3rd cycle of BC. This time, I've been of BC for 19 months. I started charting a year ago after discovering I had some major hormonal imbalances, and finally I found a great midwife and have been getting much better, this is my 3rd cycle since starting to get my hormones under control. I'm considering this my second real TTC cycle, since before that I was charting to help fix my body. I definately know a ton more than I did before. Having these problems has forced me to learn so much about how my body works.

I agree. When we were ttc Jeremy, I really didn't know a lot. I thought you were supposed to bd on cycle day 14 and that is what I did. I remember trying to use opks and not having a clue what I was doing with them. I know so much more now.
