I really have no idea what I am doing!! I am reading all the posts and reading any articles I can but I don't know........ I started taking Evening primrose oil this cycle. I am waiting to ovulate before I discontinue and move onto progesterone cream. I have had sex on the 8th, 9th, 11th, and 12th day of my cycle which is today. I don't know how to get my chart up on here from fertility friend.
We have been trying for almost a year. I am getting really discouraged!! This is so hard because I want this very much and month after month I am disappointed!!

At the very least you can copy the link from your chart and paste it into here but I think you can't post any links until you have had at least 10 posts. So add a few more and then you should be able to add the link.

I'm here, kind of active kind of lurking. I'm still learning. I was going to start charting this cycle, but I got overwhelmed and panicked. Now I have no chart, and I think I ovulated already. I'll be ready next cycle, if we didn't catch that eggy this time!

I am thinking about charting... But does anyone know if I need to get the special "Basal Body Temperature" reader or can I just buy a regular thermometer?

The Basal Body Temperature thermometer detects temperatures with more accuracy (to 2 decimal places instead of 1) and are recommended. Regular ones will round off the temperature which may not be a big deal if your temperatures are very obviously different from pre-o to post-o. They aren't expensive and you can find them at any drugstore. I got mine from Walgreens and it is their brand.
