This is my first month charting. I had a TR at the beginning of May and started my cycle 3 days after surgery. If you could look at my chart and tell me what you think I would appreciate it, I have no clue.

Thanks,
Shannon

Your chart looks great. You timed things pretty well too. Crossing my fingers your temps stay up and your bfp is on the way!!!

Thanks guys! This is only my first cycle TTC after my tubal reversal and I'm so nervous, I'm new at all this. Any idea why there was a dip in temp at 4dpo? Is it possible to implant sooner if you have shorter tubes? I had a lot of cramping Friday (3dpo).

My temp dips like that a lot. I usually see a dip around 3 dpo. I don't really think that seeing a dip in your chart means anything. I see a lot of people suggest that it is due to implantation but I have seen plenty of charts that dip around 7-9 dpo and then get AF.

Maybe Shawna has an answer for you.

One dip doesn't mean anything by itself. To attribute it to implantation or anything else is just speculation, not conclusive evidence. Temps can be affected by many outside variables (sleeping with your mouth open, kicking the blankets off, having a window open, etc) - so it's the overall pattern that matters. We just can't really know, unless you had a microscope in there filming everything that happens! Try not to read too much into any single observation by itself. Hang in there! The wait can be so hard!

Hi Shannon! Your chart looks great! When are you planning on testing? Do your cycles typically last 28 days, or longer?
