So I think I'm going to start charting and need to get a thermometer. Does anyone know if the Basal Body thermometer is any different then the Regular Thermometers? Any Brand that anyone suggust that I buy to start?

Yes they are different. You can't use a regular fever thermometer. It is not as sensitive and since you are looking for very small changes in temperature you need to use a very accurate thermometer. You can find them at most drug stores but I have had problems finding them since I live in a rural area. I normally order mine online. You can order one from early-pregnancy-tests.com or amazon.com. That is where I order mine.

I got mine at Wal-Mart for around $8, but sometimes I wonder how accurate it is, so not sure if I would reccomend it! Most pharmacies have them though.

TTC on our own for over 2 years
Dx with Severe MFI- Blood work shows no Microdeletion and no CF mutations

Ultrasound scheduled 3/22- DONE! Everything looks normal, other than some cysts on my right ovary.
HSG scheduled 4/14- DONE! Tubes are clear!!
On BCP until our IVF w/ICSI scheduled for August!!!

Thanks! I went online to "Early-Pregnancy-tests.com" and got the BBt Thermometer. It was fairly reasonable in price. ($8.95+$1.99 for shipping). Now I have to figure out charting.
