So I have diabetes and I am 37 so I know that I will be considered a High risk pregnancy. I have got the OK from my Dr to TTC and I have my sugar under control. I have to admit I am a little worried about TTC with Diabetes but DH and I both really want to have another and are willing to do what ever it takes to have a baby.

Yeh, I think I would be considered high risk. I have had two miscarriages, two ectopics, premature labor, placental abruption, and gestational diabetes. At the moment I am mostly paranoid about having another ectopic. My ectopic was awful. I had a lot of internal bleeding and I spent a few days in the hospital. I don't want to go through that again.

I don't have diabetes but I did have really high blood sugars with Brandon so I can relate with wanting to get them under control first. I think I am at a pretty high risk for developing type two diabetes. I have had gestational diabetes, have two nephews with type one and my dad has type two. I worry about that a lot. Every time I start peeing a lot or getting thirsty I get paranoid.

Wow Patty You have been threw a lot. I had no idea.

I had a M/C before I got pregnant with Paige and it just broke my heart I can't imagine how hard it would be to go threw it more than once.

I just found out about my Diabetes in Feb I went to the Dr for a UTI and she dropped the bomb on me.

I hope we both have a wonderful and easy pregnancy

I hope that you guys are able to get pregnant soon and that your pregnancies are fairly uneventful and healthy! I know it's scary!

I went into pre-term labor with my daughter, though nothing ever really ended up happening...if that makes sense. It was around 30 weeks. So, according to my midwife, I don't think I'll technically be considered high-risk, but they'll probably monitor my cervix a bit more closely for changes early on.

I will be high risk also...I think. I had a LEEP procedure and I have been told that when I do conceive, they will pay extra close attention to me.

I think you are right. I think that does put you at higher risk.

I find myself being paranoid because of Brandon. He came 7 weeks early and the other kids were four weeks early (except Jeremy). I really want to go to at least 37 weeks next time.
