20d41b Ovulation Charts

Yeah, FOUR dpo and my temp drops.

The ONLY thing I can think of is that the downstairs window was open and it was cold down here when I woke up.. BUT I was sleeping UPSTAIRS, so I don't know if that counts? Also, I woke up around 12:30 (I temp at 2am) and was awake for a while. I didn't get out of bed or anything, just couldn't get back to sleep. I temped then, just to compare, and it was only 36.25 C and at 2am it was 36.22 C so ??? The second number is the one I recorded, since it was at my regular time.

Last month my lp was like 3 days long.. so I figure af is coming today.

But I wonder.. has anyone dropped like this and NOT had af come? (like a fluke temp or something?)

My temp always drops around 3 or 4 days past ovulation. I don't think that means anything. I bet it will go back up tomorrow. I think when you see a temp drop around 11 or 12 days past ovulation that could indicate AF is coming but a temp drop at this point is nothing to worry about.

Also, if your luteal phase is only three days long, either something is really off or you are mistaken about your o day.

awww patty you are so sweet! Thanks for posting the charts. I think i'm just worried because my drop was so close to coverline, ya know? It was huge! Even if i dont get a bfp, id like to know my lp's aren't stupidly short.

I'll let you know what happens tomorrow, or if af comes...

Is there a possibility you were sleeping with your mouth open? That could potentially cause a large drop...

Thanks sjkduke! I don't know if I slept with my mouth open, when my alarm goes off I just shut it off and take my temp right away and never actually pay attention...

I was told yesterday that it could be a corpus luteum drop, that occur 4-6dpo and then your temp rebounds the next day.. well it was UP this morning, so I am thinking that could be it! So the earliest AF will be here will be tomorrow (if my temp dropped then, kwim?) which would give me a 6day lp this month.. which is better than the 3 last month! lol And of course, it COULD be longer *fingers crossed* I am hoping to make it to at least sunday, for a 10day lp. I don't want to think too much about a possible pregnancy until I know I have a viable lp length. Last month I had GREAT chances of concieving... and af showed up 3days past O. I don't want that to happen again, so right now I'm just excited to have a high temp TODAY, ya know?
