So I just entered CM in FF for today because I noticed I had what looks to me like EWCM. It didn't surprise me because I normally O between the 3rd-5th of the month.
Well, when I did, FF suddenly detected ovulation on the 28th, this past Thursday. I have never O'd that early, and I have a 30 day cycle, which would make my LP 19 days long!!! This just doesn't sound right. Also, the temp shift it's detecting as ovulation is only a .18 shift, and I thought it should be at least a .4 shift. Does anyone know why it detected O on thursday after I entered EWCM for today??
I'm thinking it will probably change it in the next few days, b/c I don't think I O'd then, but I'm not sure!

I think it'll take a few more days of temps to really get a good idea of what's going on, along with CM. Good luck!

FF does that sometimes. It gave you dotted crosshairs which means you *could have* ovulated. I think you will get new crosshairs once you actually ovulate. The CM is a good sign ovulation is approaching (and hasn't already happened). I wouldn't worry about the crosshairs and just keep planning things as if you haven't o'd yet.

Ok thanks! That's what I thought. My temp this morning was 97.64, so I may have O'd yesterday, But I guess I am just going to have to wait and see!

Day 16 looks promising. I can't wait to see what your temps look like tomorrow.

I know me too! The only thing is that we haven't BD'd since Sat. b/c I didn't expect to O until at least the 3rd! This has really thrown my plan for the month off!

Well don't give up hope just yet. As they say... good swimmers can live for up to 5 days, and at the end of the day, it only takes one!
You don't know until you know... ya know? LOL!!!
