Also the OPK'S say to let it sit for about 20 min before you test do you do that?

I usually start testing around day nine. My cycles are anywhere from 24-33 days so I usually start early just in case. If you ovulate early I would start on day 8 and see how it goes. I usually try to start testing five days out from when I could possibly ovulate.

What do you mean by let it sit? The urine sit? I have never read that. I don't normally do anything extra special with my opks. I normally ovulate within a couple days of getting a positive opk.

I really think the opks make a difference (of course I am not pregnant yet but at least I know when I am ovulating).

Yeah... I've never heard of letting anything "sit for 20 minutes". The only thing I've heard is that you want to hold your urine for at least 4 hours before you test... other than that, it's just like a HPT, except you DON'T want to use FMU.

Good Luck!!

If cd 10 ovulation happens often for you, I would even start testing on cd 8 because that surge can happen even 48 hours before the egg drops.

I've never heard of the 20 min thing, never done it, and my opk's still work so i'm pretty sure it isnt necessary.

Yeah, I don't know anything about letting urine sit...but you want it to be concentrated, and don't use first morning urine.

I always started using OPKs early, and used at least 2 a day, in the hopes that I wouldn't miss the surge.

Good luck!
