Grr, the beginning of my chart is NOT going to be pretty. Natasha's been waking up at ridiculous times of the morning and therefore so have I! I haven't had a chance of taking my temp at the same time each day. Or after a decent amount of sleep!

I'm just going to have to accept that my chart will never make it in the beauty stakes!

I'm sorry Misty lol. The good news is, even with erratic sleep you can usually still see a thermal shift. I'm a shift worker, and have to work nights. Sometimes all I get are small naps here and there. While my charts aren't always pretty, I never had a problem detecting o.

I can totally relate. Lyndsey used to mess up my chart constantly. You just have to do the best you can with it and try not to get too frustrated. ((HUGS))

That's good to know that I should still see a shift. It's just typical that Natasha goes into a dodgy sleep patch when I could really do with some proper sleep and a better routine! On the plus side, I'm loving my new thermometer and it's not as loud as my old one when it beeps so it doesn't wake the household!

This is going to sound strange, but I temp at 2 am! It's because of my baby, actually. He is only 4 months old, so he is still night waking, but I saw a pattern that he *usually* will sleep pretty well until sometimes AFTER 2, so I figured it was my best shot to get a solid 3 hours and still temp at the same time daily. (I go to bed by 10 or 11, sometimes earlier) Obviously I just go back to sleep afterwards.

Just a thought, I don't know if your baby is ALWAYS up at night or just recently, but that's how I *solved* this problem.

That sounds like a great solution for you! I'm glad you found a pattern

Natasha's only started doing this for the last week or so, I think because she's recently learned to stand and to do so many new things, she just wants to be awake ALL the time and wakes up at 5 to practice standing! I'm hoping this will only be a temporary thing!

I don't take my temps at the same time each day but the software adjusts it and it actually looks pretty consistent this month. All months I have been able to see a shift though. Just keep on taking your temps and marking the time.

Aw, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and your chart should still be able to show a thermal shift so it'll be beautiful even though kooky

My charting is going ridiculously badly this month... I slept VERY late today (uh, nearly midday...) and completely forgot to temp AGAIN (as I forgot yesterday).
