Getting SO impatient!

This is my fist month charting....and OH what a month (or cycle I should say ) to start with! Everything has been ALL over the map all cycle. I would get fertile quality CM and we'd DTD a bunch but my temp would not rise. Then....all the way on CD 38 I get a dotted line on FF showing I possibly ovulated. However, I was very very dry so of course I hadnt had sex in about 4 days becuase I didnt think I would be ovulating anytime soon. I had one day of Wet CM 5-6 days before ovulating and we did have sex that day and the day before.... but still too far off of ovulation.

So...when I saw the temp change and realized we had timed everything ALL wrong I was of course upset. Darn it- I just want AF to get here so I can start all over and hopefully next cycle won't be so wonky.

I am on CD 47... 4 freaking 7 !! According to FF I am 9 DPO...temps are still high- not that Im expecting that means anything since I know our timing was way out this month. But I just want this ridiculous cycle to be over and it seems like its the cycle that will never end!

It looks like you geared up to O several times and then didn't. As for the CM I have this problem too. I tend to have the fertile CM before I ovulate and often dry up a day or two before I actually ovulate. This is one of the reasons I like to combine opks and charting. It does look like you have ovulated though.

I try to not take more than two days off from bding until I am sure I have ovulated just for this reason. I usually have a semi-predictable o date but more than once I have thought I ovulated just to find out it actually happened a few days later.

I am almost thinking that you could have ovulated on day 31 if it weren't for the drop on day 37. Do you know if anything happened on day 37 to affect your temp? Did you chart when TTC your daughter? There isn't really a clear pattern though and I am not great at this so I could be all wrong.

It does look like that was a possible O day. There's a slight chance CD37 could have been an implantation dip?

There is nothing that I can think of that happened on day 37...just maybe getting frustrated at that point that my darn temp wasnt going up!
I didnt chart with my daughter, we just decided to let "nature take its course" and I got pregnant my second cycle off the pill. It was very very quick with her so now Im impatient and hate having long cycles like this since we've been trying since February. (which I know isnt THAT long but it feels like it!)
Temp still high today- again not that Im thinking this is the month but I will never totally give up until I see red! I have a naturopath appointment on MOnday which will be 13 DPO so if AF isnt here yet I am testing since the procedure she does on me isnt safe during the first trimester and I want to be sure.

I can see the arguments for either o date. Have you tried using the FAM setting with FF. A lot of times you will get a more accurate interpretation that way. If you did ovulate on the earlier date I would say you should get a bfp by now. Have you tested? If you haven't gotten a bfp yet I would say it was the later date because your luteal phase shouldn't last that long.

Hmm.. interesting. Just because I like reading charts, but not to get your hopes up or anything... CD31 DOES look like a possible O day, with an implantation dip at CD37, and then your temp went even higher at CD39, making your chart triphasic. Have you tested?

LOL, of course I might be wrong and over-analyzing your chart

I tested on CD 42 and got a BFN so Im pretty sure it must be the CD 38 o' date. My only (little) bit of hope is that I may be a slow riser with my temp after I ovulate and then DTD would have been 3 days beforehand. Not ideal, but not out of the questions either.

I am SUPER bloated right now. I look like Ive gained 5 or 6 lbs in my belly the past week or so even though I havent gained anything. Im not reading too much into though as I tend to get bloated and very tired when I have a cycle that lasts this long.
