Do you have a room that you plan to put baby in if you get pregnant? What about any baby/nursery gear? Have you bought anything yet or will you just wait until you actually are pregnant?

I am not sure what we will do with baby. I may keep him/her in our room or I may move my office down to the basement and put baby in here. It is actually a small bedroom but I just use it for my office. I don't really have much baby stuff anymore. I should but I don't.

Haha..well I don't really know where to put baby..maybe the dresser drawer? haha jk!
She...well BABY.lol. will probably stay in our room for the first 3 months just like DD did. We have a TON of baby girl stuff clothing etc. We still have the bassinet, crib, bouncer all of that good stuff so we won't have to buy all that again..but knowing me..I will probably go buy more stuff we don't need and then have a cow when I don't have anywhere to put it..
Hi, my name is Katie, and I'm a shopholic...remember the first step is admitting

How about an extreme shopaholic? I've seen the amount of crap Ollie has!

As for us, we have a bedroom the baby #2. It's our office/junk room right now so it's perfect. We also still have our crib and swing, some boy clothes.

Well my house is super small it is a historical house and only has 900 sq ft. We do have 3 bedrooms and Plan on putting baby in Paige's room with her. Paige has the smallest room but Jessie has had her room for 9 years and it is not right to take hers away to put baby in it when she has had it so long. We are planning on doing some remodeling on the house and that would put Paige and the new baby in a larger room.

I still have a few baby things left. I have a swing, bath tub, bottles, carseat, stroller, and a few cloths. I am sure I will have a lot to buy but I will not buy anything till I find out what I am having unless it is a crib.

We could probably do with a larger place but we organise our flat differently because we sleep in our lounge (we have always done this - it helps me with things like cooking because I can go and lay down in between bits!) so although we live in a 2 bedroom place 'our' bedroom is our spare room. The lounge is really big so it's fine as a bedroom as well as a lounge! Natasha is moving into the spare room ASAP (she should have already been in there but the door handle broke and it was a special kind they had to order in... long story!) but in another 6 months or so I'm hoping my girls will share a room. I think we'd probably be OK for the first year or so with a new baby but would need somewhere bigger after that!

We have Collin in the nursery now and then have a guest bedroom besides his room but we aren't sure if we would move Collin into the other room or just have him share with the new baby. We have trundle bed in the nursery already that he could transition to. The new baby will be in our room for a few months anyway.

You girls are too funny. My sis and I use to do that too. Wouldn't it be fun if you got pregnant together? I keep telling my sister I want her to get pregnant at the same time as me so we can have babies on the same day. She just rolls her eyes and gets annoyed with me. LOL

My sister and I are trying at the same time. Well I was trying first and she was planning on trying this month but since I didn't get pregnant the first 2 months we are now days apart. We planned our first to be close in age also and they are 3 months apart. She also charts, informs me of her chart and stalks my chart every day. It would be very cool if we both got pregnant this month.

Ummmm... no. I have all the baby stuff, being that I have a four month old who is using it! lol BUT no... I don't have a room for her. I only have 4 bedrooms.. Never really thought of where I'd put her.

So far, my oldest 2 boys have the master bedroom (which is HUGE and could fit another kid or two), my 2 girls share a room, my 2 yo has a room to himself BUT the baby's crib is in there.. just without the baby, since he needs to sleep through the night before I can put them together.. and the baby is in my room. I suppose if I actually have a baby SOON I will need another crib becasue Damien would still be in his..

It will work out, I'm sure.

Lisa

We have a 3 bedroom house but I think for the first few months the baby would be in the room with us then put 2 kids in the bigger room. We just moved my son to a toddler bed so we still have his crib, I'm debating on if I want to get rid of it so I can buy one that will turn into a bed, which is what I should of got for my son. As far as playpen, bouncy seat, and all that other gear I have everything saved. The DH says we have no room and I told him that's what bunk beds are for!

Well, we really don't have a room for another baby. My MIL moved in and took the bonus room that was my oldest daughters room. So now my two girls share a room and my son has his own room. I guess, it's room, would depend on the sex of the fourth child. Regardless it would be in our room for awhile, but if it was a boy it would share a room with our son. If it was a girl, well, it would stay in our room until my MIL moves out. We have a baby crib and a pack and play, that's it.

Nope, physically I definitely do not have room for a baby here. I live in a small two bedroom flat with my son and daughter already sharing the largest room (which is FAR From ideal given m daughter is 14 and son 11).

The first year I keep the baby in my room by my side anyway in their cot (crib) as I breastfeed. I also co-slept with my first two - it's just more 'natural' to being the baby into bed to nurse and fall asleep together rather than get up and properly disturb my sleep. After that... eh, we'll find a way. Even if it involves moving somewhere else.

But, emotionally, I have a baby-sized hole in my heart waiting. It's kinda ache-y and any problems about 'where will we all fit?' are over-ridden by my instinct to fill that hole

Yep... we've got a room for the baby. We moved into a 3 bedroom house in January, and with just the two of us, the dog and 2 kitties... we've got plenty of room. I've got my sewing table and stuff in the baby's room. DH is actually going to reorganize his office & move my sewing table into his office tomorrow night so that we will have plenty of room. We just got a free crib & swing from a friend of the family, DH bought a little cradle from a yard sale and we've got some baby clothes that my sister gave me YEARS ago.

So, we're on our way.
