I did that today. I actually woke up a little bit before my alarm went off again. I put the thermometer in my mouth and the next thing you know I hear it falling onto the floor under my bed. Then dh is like, "What, what, what... what's all the cussing about." LMBO. I couldn't find the darn thermometer because it fell under my bed. So my temp could be slightly off today. I didn't put an open circle on there though because I didn't think it was that off. I took my temp again a second time and it was only .01 degrees different.

LOL! But I have you beat! You really want an embarrassing tired story?

I V temp because it's the only way I can see a thermal shift with an erratic sleep schedule. One day I must have really been asleep, because I actually inserted the thermometer into my urethra! Talk about painful!

I was getting pretty frustrated. Our bed is kind of high off the ground and it fell underneath it. I was having a heck of a time finding it. Dh was cracking me up though. I think he thought I was having some kind of serious issue.

And btw, another beautiful siggy you got there.

My DH already thinks I have issues (esp in the morning since I'm not a morning person) lol, so if something like that happened to me he would prob not think anything of it it. He would just use his "Calm down baby, where did you have it last?" phrase..and then I would probably blurt something out like.."It's a thermometer..where do you think I had it last" .lol..well now that I already played that out .haha.

oh and thank you

Omgoodness Alice, you've definitely got us all beat with that one! Eeek!

I've fallen asleep a couple of times but as I lay with it resting against the pillow anyway it didn't fall out

lol I am so glad that I am not the only one that had had this problem!

I went to the potty about an hour before I was supposed to temp and when I got back in bed I knocked it behnd the bed and I had to pull out the bed and wiggle every way to get it out. That is why I have an open circle a few days ago.
