Well I am on cd 9, and I just temped for the first time this cycle last night. (I don't temp during af and I seem to ovulate late so I take the first week or so "off" of temping )

My chart has two temps.. one from the day AF started, and todays temp. And it gave me a coverline today when I entered the temp! How weird is that? I'm figuring it will likely take it away as the days go on (probably) but why would I have one already? AND it gave me a rule of thumb on my last chart for the day AF showed up (temp drop).

This isn't a big deal, I am just not sure WHY it's done this? Anyone know?

ovusoft is very different from FF, in that it likes to predict things. Your coverline will probably change every day as you temp. It jsut gives you it's guess at the coverline based on your current temps. I also will predict o sometimes before you have your 3 temps above the coverline.

It gave you last month's coverline. It'll adjust as you go though so I wouldn't worry about it.

What she said. For what it is worth, I think Ovusoft does a much better job at predicting ovulation. I used to use both but now I am too lazy to do both and I would have to reinstall the software.

So what do you guys mean it predicts ovulation? I know that on my calendar it has some "green boxes" that say something like, "potentially fertile day" or "potential high fertility" .. is that what you're talking about?

Patty, lol I use both, but I'm not even sure why, though I don't have the VIP for ff, just the basic. I think it would be a waste of money to go with VIP since I have the ovu software.. I guess I just like seeing where each software puts the ovulation day, for comparisons sake ya know?

Weird that it gave me last months coverline. It just threw me off!

Sorry, I shouldn't have said predicts. I meant to say it marks your o date for you once you ovulate. It does help you identify your fertile days too. As for wasting money I have wasted money on both. I have a big spending problem with ttc stuff. I am not a spender in general though. I am quite the tightwad usually but my self control is lacking with fertility items.
