So you ladies know that this is my first cycle to chart & to my my chart is fuggggly.lol. It is already so up, down, up, down. I'm wondering if I am going to know when I am actually ovulating ! I take my temp at the same time every day and its always before I get up or talk or anything. I think) next cycle I might (I hope there's not a next, lol) that I might try V temp.

I had a couple oddball temps like that in the beginning of this cycle (in fact, the first 6 days of temps on both our charts look almost identical). They were just 2 oddball temps, though. After that, it got a little better looking.

I think your chart looks fine. It is pretty normal to see erratic temps while AF is around and shortly after. I think your chart will start looking better in a few days. Wait to see how your complete chart looks before you start calling it fuggly. It could turn out to be quite pretty!

Actually, that is why I do NOT temp during AF - or a couple days after she leaves, for that matter. Temps can be higher than normal, and definitely erratic. It messes with your coverline and leaves you somewhat confused. lol

Chances are pretty good that now that AF is gone your temps will even out. You said you temp at the same time and without getting up, etc.. are you also getting at least 3 consecutive hours beforehand?

I think that next cycle I won't temp during AF but chances are if I don't & stay in my routine I will be all messed up and forget to do it when I need to..I'm a creature of habit.lol but yes I deff make sure its 3 consecutive hours
