. . . catch themselves just staring at their chart? I do that all the time (kind of willing my temps to keep going up)
Right now I find mine kind of amusing. I've got sort of a zig zag line going on. Pretty much since O, my temp will go up .3 or .4 one day, then down .2 the next, then up .3, then down .2. Here's hoping for another .3 or .4 up tomorrow.

OMGosh all the time. I stare at other people's charts too but mostly my own... as if it is going to change if I stare at it long enough. LOL.

BTW, your chart looks GREAT! I love how your temp is going up and up. I hope that's a good sign.

Thanks, at least I'm not the only crazy one.
I am really hopeful this cycle. I've had spotting 4 & 6 dpo and again today so I'm hoping that's implantation (I've NEVER had mid-2ww spotting, just a day or two before AF). I actually had a couple faint positives, but they were blue dye tests (I know they suck, but they were the cheapest at Walmart and they satisfy my urge to POAS - not putting much stock in them).

All the time! I go to it 10 times a day, checking up on it to see if temps have changed lol. I only have 3 or 4 days worth of temps because i started taking temps with a regular thermometer in the ear, which probably is wrong. I don't know what those red lines are (I'm assuming they are helping figure out when ovulation is?) and how come I don't have them??

They're called cross-hairs. Once you get an elevated temperature for 3 days they'll appear showing your O date (day before the temps rise) and your coverline (kind of an average of your pre-O temps).

YOU'VE HAD SOME FAINT POSITIVES???????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????? WHEN?!?! Like, today? And with a chart like that, why aren't you tripping over yourself to go get a FRER? Holy cow! Baby baby baby dust to you!
Oh, I am a little bit jealous. Go pee on a FRER and comeback to update us!

LOL.
Yeah, I had faint positives on blue dye Equate || tests yesterday afternoon and this morning. But I did an Answer test Saturday morning and got a BFN. I'm only 9DPO so I kind of want to wait a couple more days to use the FRER. I have one more Equate test left so I'll do it tomorrow morning and if I get another faint positive, I'll do the FRER (I get paid Wednesday so I guess if this FRER is a BFN, I'll have money to get a couple more).
I really, really want to get a BFP this cycle and be able to tell BF on Friday. We're going to a baseball game (Cardinals @ Royals) as kind of a 1 yr anniversary and it will be in time for Father's Day. He's said many times that he wants to be a dad more than anything so it would be just perfect if I could tell him he is one this weekend.

My best friend (the only one who knows I went off birth control) just told me today that she had a dream BF and I had a baby.

I stare at my chart too and I agree that your chart looks stunning!! And I think a few positives are positive even if it is a cheap test.

Blue dye tests are known for evaps (I think they end up with more false positives than true positives).
I took the last Equate this morning and it showed another very faint positive so I went ahead and use my FRER and it's negative (I trust the FRER way more than the blue dye test). I am only 10 DPO, though. I'm out of HPT's now so I won't buy any until tomorrow or Thursday and I won't test again until Thursday or Friday morning.

And to answer your original question - Yes. Absolutely YES! I stare at it all the time. Like it's gonna make an difference *eyeroll*

Your chart just keeps on going up and up!! It is beautiful. I didn't realize that blue dye tests gave that many false positives. I thought it was much more common to get false negatives.

OMG! I found the perfect Father's Day card for telling BF when I get my BFP (I'm so confident it's coming that I went ahead and bought the card).
On the front, it says:
"My love, you are the center of my life, the dearest friend and lover there could be. When all the world is crazy and confusing, you are my calm and my security."
Inside it says:
"I look into your eyes and find my soul mate. I hear your voice and never feel alone. Beside you, I believe in love unending and feel the deepest joy I've ever known.
Wishing You A Wonderful Father's Day"
And I'm going to writ in it: "You're going to be a DADDY!"
I love how it appears to be just a regular "I love you" card until you get to the very end.
So I think what I'll do is give him the card and have the HPT behind my back or in my pocket and give it to him when he gets to the end of the card.
Now a delima: I just bought a 2 pack of Answers (would have gotten a 3 pack of FRER's, but they were mopping the aisle and had it roped off and the Answers was all I could reach leaning past the rope.
So I'm 11 DPO now.
AF isn't due until Sunday.
I know 13 DPO is the average when most women get their early BFP's.
I have 2 HPT's (would rather not have to go back and buy any more)
I've already peed twice this morning, but I could probably pee again (and haven't had anything to drink yet) so I don't know if my HCG would be concentrated enough still.
Do I use one of the tests now? Or wait until tomorrow (and do one tomorrow & one Friday)?
Also, this morning my temp, instead of going down and continuing the zig zag pattern stayed the same (not sure if it's going to level out now, or maybe jump back up - triphasic?)

First of all - lovely card! I seem to be a bit emotional lately, it made me a bit misty eyed thinking of it!
Secondly, I think your chart is just awesome, but I can't see how it could go triphasic from there - you must already be sweating when you wake up each morning
As for testing, considering it's 'early' first morning urine is probably the best bet... if you can bear it, wait it out until the morning.
I really can't wait to see if you have good news for us!

The funny thing is, last night we were laying in bed watching TV and BF was laying there on top of the blankets in his boxers and I was covered in blankets still shivering (half way through the night I got hot, though).
I forgot to add that this morning, I'm feeling quite nauseous.
I got to head over to help my mom clean so I've resisted temptation this morning. I'll test tomorrow & Friday.

Oooh, I've read before about women feeling cold when pregnant (and of course, their tems saying otherwise!) - could be a good sign for you, I hope so!
Heh, and we all know feeling nauseous is a classic sign.
Don't work too hard today, and make sure you check in as soon as you test in the morning!
